How many years a foreigner have to live in England to represent England in sports?
it depends which sport – cricket has its own rules and South Africans play for England – but for football and olympics you have to be born in England or your parents or grandparents have to be English ( British)
I am planning a trip to the US. If I decide to book both my hotels and flights on Orbitz or expedia, is it cheaper to do it together, as compared to booking flights and then booking hotels?
In my experience, it is usually cheaper, definitely.
We want seclusion, romance, luxury, beachfront location or oceanview, and a chance to tour other parts of the island. All-inclusive is great as well.
I am not so sure you will get seclusion with all-inclusive and luxury in the same sentence. In the east you can get seclusion, beachfront/ocean view but definitely not the rest. it all depends on the amount of money you want to pay per night. A suggestion was made for Sandy Lane but that is very expensive per night. Mostly stars and celebrities go there.
You can try Almond Casaurina or there is another nice one called Little Arches. This is one of the best and has great reviews. If you like I can organize someone to give you tours or you can ask at the hotel.

this link is about some recommendation of hotels starting prices from 30 euros per night http://www.world-rt.com/travel/cheap-hotels-barcelona.php and if you want cheaper, for around 16 euros per night you will have to rent a bed not a room, the best of this practice is that if you are going in group, it can be a cheap way, in your situation it may worth it, for example if you are 5 people, try to take a room with 5 beds, each one of you will pay his bed, by this way, the room is only for you and you got the cheaper prices, the only inconvenient of such places is that you have only one locker per person, if you dont mind take a look on http://www.world-rt.com/travel/cheapest-hotels-barcelona.php
I am planning a trip to California to New York. Basically West to East Coast travel. I am wanting to make it as cheap as possible. How much can I expect to pay for 1 star motels in California and New York?
Hotels aren’t formally rated in the U.S. by stars. Some of the higher end hotels and motels have Michelin and AAA (an auto club) ratings, but the vast majority do not.
Prices vary substantially due to taxes by region. Motels in rural areas and small towns are considerably less expensive than big cities.
Expect to pay about $50 per night for a basic motel in rural areas. In the U.S., hotels do not charge by the person, so that’s $50 per night for the room for up to 2 people, maybe 4 if the room is suitably equipped. Breakfast usually does *not* come with a room, though a private bathroom and shower (or shower+bathtub) always comes with a U.S. motel room.
In large cities, expect to pay $120 or more per night for the most basic motels. For San Francisco and New York City, it could be closer to $200 per night. For the large cities, it’s well worth shopping around a few days in advance on a travel website: http://www.hotels.com/ http://www.orbitz.com/ etc.
What landmark United States Supreme Court decision gave approval to state laws requiring separate facilities for whites and blacks?
A) the Slaughterhouse Cases.
B) the Civil Rights Cases.
C) Plessy vs. Ferguson.
D) Brown v. The Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas
C) Plessy v Ferguson (1896) — established the power of states to use the "separate but equal facilities" doctrine. The PvF ruling was 7-1, with one abstention.
It was Brown v Board (1954) that reversed this, ruling that separate was inherently unequal. Future SCOTUS Associate Justice, and chief counsel for NAACP at the time, Thurgood Marshall, argued the case for Brown. The vote was unanimous.

I have used plug ins in every outlet, sprays, and tried just about everything. My house doesn’t stink, but I want it to have a really nice smell everyday to it. I’ve walked into people’s homes before and their house just smells really good and they aren’t burning anything, or have anything plugged in the walls. It’s almost like a natural really good smell that their house smells like it all of the time. Does anyone have any suggestions or anythign to use? To me, my house just smells like a house and nothing special.
There are ac filter fresheners that you can use that nobody can see. They come in a variety of scents and literally stick right to your ac filter and circulate the scent throughout the house as long as the unit is running. Usually in the ac filter section of your local grocer. See the link below for an example.

I’m planning to visit new york city and would also like to visit one of the New England states during this period. I am travelling with my parents, husband, sister and brother in law. We would like somewhere that has lots of shopping, food, activities, and cultural/historic sites and monuments. Please also include the town or city for each New England state. Thanks.
I would have to go with Massachusetts(I happen to live there) they have dozens of malls for shopping suh as:
emerald square mall in North Attleboro, Ma
Wrentham outlets in wrentham,ma ( outle stores for all the major brands, they literally have over 100 stores and have just about anything you could want or need.)
Providence place mall providence, rhode island ( I know it’s not in Massachusetts by it’s like 20 minutes from both the other places)
Also in Attleboro, ma they have a church call the lasalette and they has a huge display of lights and decorations thaw free to walk around, I try and go every years it’s awesome and a great family activity.
Boston would also be great for historic site seeing and shopping too.
You can find sites for everything above by searching them on yahoo or something.
Hope I helped!
I am working on another novel about a girl who moves from a small town south of Portland, Maine, to Cedar Park, Texas, right off of Austin. At some point in my book, the main character notices the difference in clothing between the Southern style and New England style. I live in Texas, and I know what the style is here. But, I have never been to New England. I was curious as to what type of clothing is popular there? Like I know in the Northwest (like Washington state area) plaid is a very popular style. Could you provide a few examples of styles popular in New England?
Thanks for your answers!
is the story set in the 21st century? If so, I don’t think we have much of a style difference anymore. Every girl in the US knows about Abercrombie and Fitch, and all the other brand name clothes
