I get SSI and was planning to move to California, and you get nearly $100 more a month if your housing doesn’t contain cooking facilities. How do they verify this or do they?
If it’s a factor then it’s verified by checking with your landlord. Pretty simple, huh? When you move and if you allege that you don’t have cooking facilities, they will get a release from you authorizing them to contact the landlord, or whomever, to verify your allegation. Don’t sign the release; don’t get the extra money. That’s simple too.
I need to know the cheapest hostel/hotel I can stay in with my own room. Less than $25 a night. Please help! I’m planning on staying for a month and I need somewhere cheap to stay. I’m also willing to pay someone to rent a room.

Ok so I have a cabin/lodge room but it’s not really like as cozy as I’d like it to be. I know it has to do with the lights so how can I get that cozy feel out of the lights to tie the room together? Are there like certain types of shade cover things u put over the lights to do that? If so what are they, where can i get them, and are they inexpensive?
Thanks!
I would see if Goodwill/thrift stores have any lampshades, they usually have tons. I would also change the bulbs to smart energy saving bulbs, soften them w/ frosted glass.
