I just got back from staying at a resort w/ condos right on the sea of Cortez. It is called Las Palomas, right on the beach, great food, beautiful, condos.

The sea of Cortez runs from Rocky Point all the way to Divorce Beach in Cabo San Lucas – can you be more specific to the area? Your talking about 600 miles or so!

I would say stay in Cabo. It is a popular town and has a lot to do. A hotel i always stay at is Villa Del Arco. It is brand new and not all inclusive. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL and so are the bathrooms. The pool area is amaazing too. The pools are huge and the landscaping is bery pretty too. It is located on a really good spot on the beach too. It is in the action, but not right in the middle of it. It is pretty cheap too. There are one bedrooms, 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms, but theyre EXPENSIVE! There are also studios. The studios have a fridge but the 1,2, and 3 bedrooms have stoves and microwaves and a tiny kitchen area. A kitchen is soo good to have though because restaurants are expensive and you dont want to have to pay for breakfast and lunch EVERY day. so villa del arco is definatley a great place to stay.

Go to oceano-rentals.com. This is where we stay when in Rocky Point, or Puerto Penasco. R.P. is only one hour, by car, from the port of entry at Lukeville, Az.
The drive is nice, and safe, as I have been traveling this road for the past 20 years, and it is much improved from the old days. Oceano has many fine houses and condos right on the beach in Los Conches.
