Hey — I’m starting my own booking agency as a kind of extra project, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some unknown bands in the New York City area who are looking for some help…
Sign up for myspace! I know a few bands from where I grew up and they are on there as well. You can post ads there too. I’m sure you’d do great with posting your ads there and not to mention there would be more to come out of it than just a few. There are loads of bands on there and most of them are either wanting to take off or landed without trial and still looking to perform after not performing for many years.
Bands that haven’t played for many years would love to do shows that are in places they’ve either never performed or haven’t been to in ages!!!

Blasbro is right MySpace was originally designed for local talent to network and it grew from there so i would say to check it out and look around and you could do a weblog that may attract somr attention
