What are the considerations you’re looking for in booking a place to stay for your travel?
Kindly state whether such considerations are for leisure or business travel.
Thank you for sharing your personal experiences.
When travelling for leisure it can be good to keep your options open and not necessarily booking every night especially if you are travelling low season to a place with a lot of accommodation.
For business travel I am happy to go for fairly boring branded hotels.

Leisure Travel:
Self catering
smoking
where are the closest taxi/ public transport
where are the closest markets/stores/mall
cot for baby
en suite
air conditioning
closest bank for foreign exchange or whether the hotel does exchanges
TV channels
internet connection in the room
… off the top of my head.
