I have booked with many agencies. I find that Hotwire does the best at finding the lowest prices and gives you good valuable info on where you’ll be staying. You may not know the name of the hotel when you first book because thats how hotwire makes the prices so cheap. Good value though.

what sort of things would the tour operator need to obtain from the customer before booking a skiing holiday ?

My boyfriend and I are thinking about booking a cruise for October. We are going to go through a travel agent because I have heard horror stories of going straight through the cruise lines. We are thinking either the Bahamas or the Caribbean. Which do you think is better and why? Do I need a passport? Are there any suggestions anybody can give that I wouldn’t have thought about? Me and my son been on a cruise and nothing ever happened, We loved it, The only thing is sweety watch out for your money, You know i made a little mistake, When you go to a bar, they will present you with a booklet, You sign this little black book, everytime you want a drink, Watch what you sign for, ok, cause when i got home i had a big bill for the drinks and stuff we had on the boat, and another thing, do not bring alot of cash with you, Always stick with your mate, and frind you afre on the cruise with, Because as soon as you are alone, The employees tend to try and basically try something with you, Soo watch ouit for that, otherwise, Have a great trip

im 10 weeks with twins (had a private scan @ 8 weeks) and on friday i have my booking in appointment on friday (i live in the uk) what will happen im kinda nervous will they check for the babies heartbeats or not.

* When i had my 1st appointment I was 10 weeks. They did a lot of history & health questions on my family me my husband and his family.

* took a urine test and blood test

* checked weight height & blood pressure

* scheduled me a ultrasound because i didnt know my last cycle

* provided me prenatal vitamins

* they checked for the babies heart beat but i wasnt far enough to hear it until (12wks)

* told me what to eat not eat (nutritionist)

* they did a pelvic exam & pap smear on me be prepared to get undressed and dressed into a paperlike robe and have a full body exam to make sure your healthy.

* they gave me a goody bag & rescheduled me monthly for more apts (im 25 weeks now)

The on-line booking system has facility for only single or journey return which doesn’t cover my type of journey. My journey has three flights. Does anybody have any suggestion for how I can book my flights on-line? By the way, I don’t want to make three single flights.

As a previous answer stated you can do multi leg and open jaw bookings on the sites he mentions. However you may be better off going to a specialist travel firm for this as they will have access to a greater level of expertise and can tailor your trip to your needs.

Independent travel companies like http://www.journeysalacarte.co.uk/ are better than High Street agencies at this sort of thing. I always use Journeys for complex travel and I find their prices to be comparable with on line deals.

What are the considerations you’re looking for in booking a place to stay for your travel?

Kindly state whether such considerations are for leisure or business travel.

When travelling for leisure it can be good to keep your options open and not necessarily booking every night especially if you are travelling low season to a place with a lot of accommodation.
For business travel I am happy to go for fairly boring branded hotels.

Sign up for myspace! I know a few bands from where I grew up and they are on there as well. You can post ads there too. I’m sure you’d do great with posting your ads there and not to mention there would be more to come out of it than just a few. There are loads of bands on there and most of them are either wanting to take off or landed without trial and still looking to perform after not performing for many years.

Bands that haven’t played for many years would love to do shows that are in places they’ve either never performed or haven’t been to in ages!!!
