I’m a N scale freelance modeler who is in need of help in knowing how many facilities are there in a large steel mill you see on many railroad runs.
Looking for a big Pittsburgh type steel mill. The common facilities :furnace, rolling mill, ect.
What buildings will i need other than a blast furnace?

Each Steel Mill is different. There could be 6 and there could be 3 and there could be 1. Best bet would look on Google Earth around Gary, IN and Pittsburgh, PA where you could see an overview of many steel mills.

I get SSI and was planning to move to California, and you get nearly $100 more a month if your housing doesn’t contain cooking facilities. How do they verify this or do they?

If it’s a factor then it’s verified by checking with your landlord. Pretty simple, huh? When you move and if you allege that you don’t have cooking facilities, they will get a release from you authorizing them to contact the landlord, or whomever, to verify your allegation. Don’t sign the release; don’t get the extra money. That’s simple too.

Also, what is the name for the elected officials who oversee jail? Would that be correctional officers?

The single most important element is Vigilance. See all, Know all and be prepared to act. After saying that, ‘ya gotta do the best ya can’.

Well, now I am at level 2 and I have got the facilities to put links and blah blah. But hat will happen on level 3?

You will be awarded an email saying something like "WHoo Hoo! You’ve reached level 3!"

I want to incorporate one of these gnarly things in a short story of mine. Thing is, I don’t quite know what facilities use them. I was HOPING that they’d be used in wards with high-risk patients and/or correctional facilities. Anyone know where they’d be used?

You can often find them used on subways as either exits or card controlled entrances.

I’ve got to compare two different gyms or workout facilities, they can be listed and compared in anyway and it doesn’t need to be put into essay format. I just don’t know what or how I can compare the two gyms together. Most gyms are pretty similar in my opinion with free weights and treadmills.

Mack gyms are night and day different… clientele, is the gym clean? What to the dumbbell goes up to? In one gym I workout at they go to 200 in another they go up to 60, which gym do you think have bigger guys? Some gyms have pools, fitness classes, sauna’s, some have child care, internet, etc. Some have the basic equipment that you need. I suggest you pay a one time fee and go to both gyms and compare.

i may have to leave the home i’m in soon due to really bad issues concerning my spouse and his family. if i have to leave quickly, i may not be able to take all of my books and i do not want them going into any member of his family’s hands. i know that people who are in correctional facilities don’t have much, and i think i remember reading they don’t have too many books. would they take them? if not, does anyone know of a good organization that could use them? thank you.

This is a Chemistry Research project on Enerflex Systems Ltd. (specifically their Turnkey Chemical Facilities) and I haven’t been able to find much about how they operate. I need the process and what chemical reactions and calculations for heat are used or involved in the process.

Plenty of transportation. If she wants to see the sights, there are special sightseeing bus tours too.
