Posted by admin on March 23rd, 2011 and filed under facilities | 1 Comment »

This is a Chemistry Research project on Enerflex Systems Ltd. (specifically their Turnkey Chemical Facilities) and I haven’t been able to find much about how they operate. I need the process and what chemical reactions and calculations for heat are used or involved in the process.

turnkey means ready to go – not much work envolved on buyers part.

My sister is moving to London next week. She is on an official visit to the UK. She personally loves London and wishes to go around London for 3 days. What about the transportation facilities there?

Plenty of transportation. If she wants to see the sights, there are special sightseeing bus tours too.

What is considered adequate sleeping facilities for fireman/ems?

Posted by admin on January 9th, 2011 and filed under facilities | 2 Comments »

I been researching firefighter/ems sleep time. I ran into all of them saying the employer must provide adequate sleeping facilities. What is this requiring them to provide? Can anyone give me a answer or point me in the right direction?

Might depend on the state OSHA or union bylaws (if the FD has one). Most of our stations are older & it’s bunk rooms with partitions between the beds. Separate sleeping areas are provided for the females.

What are some other energy needs that Russia might be met without relying nuclear facilities or other enviromentally dangerous means? ( As to say, what else can Russia use as energy besides using nuclear power due to the damage that Chernobyl caused back in 1986)

you don,t know much about nuclear power. this is like never driving again because your neighbor got drunk, and wrecked his car. do a little research on this completely man made screw up. the rest of the world is rapidly embracing nuclear power generation. it works, doesn,t blow up, is amazingly energy dense, has minimal carbon foot print, does not create three headed fish……… i could go on. i did my research on this topic. i live in northern Illinois. we have eleven functioning nuclear reactors here. i,ve lived here all of my life. i,m 63.

What landmark United States Supreme Court decision gave approval to state laws requiring separate facilities for whites and blacks?

    A) the Slaughterhouse Cases.
    B) the Civil Rights Cases.
    C) Plessy vs. Ferguson.
    D) Brown v. The Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas

    C) Plessy v Ferguson (1896) — established the power of states to use the "separate but equal facilities" doctrine. The PvF ruling was 7-1, with one abstention.

It was Brown v Board (1954) that reversed this, ruling that separate was inherently unequal. Future SCOTUS Associate Justice, and chief counsel for NAACP at the time, Thurgood Marshall, argued the case for Brown. The vote was unanimous.

How did America shift from housing the Mentally ill in facilities, to leaving them homeless on the streets?

Posted by admin on July 6th, 2010 and filed under facilities | 6 Comments »

Why did so many Mental Health Facilities close? Why were the mentally ill left homeless in the streets? If it was due to government budget cuts, did this actually save the government any money or did they just build more jails and prisons instead to house the mentally ill, who couldn’t care for themselves and making it a crime to be homeless?

None of this makes any logical sense to me. Or maybe this is just how the government works? The right hand never knows what the left hand is doing in America?
