I am planning a family vacation for Orange Beach AL. I need cheap motels around like $50-70 a night. There is one adult two kids!
There are other places you can look online too that maybe you haven’t thought of. Destination Nexus lists bed and breakfast inns, guest houses and the like.
You can also try Craigslist and see if anyone is subletting their home or a room. Last but not least there’s Airbnb which has people who offer rooms out of their homes for substantially lower prices (sometimes they rent out the whole house!). Even cheaper than that is Couchsurfing….. Hope these lodging sites give you more options.
I just got back from a 7-day trip to Orlando, and while driving to the Florida Mall on Orange Blossom Trail I noticed that there were many motels along the way and there were about 20-30 women just sitting by in front of the motels and some holding hands with men.
What were they doing? Are they homeless? Does Orlando have a bad homeless problem?
Yes the Orlando area does have a serious homeless problem. It is easier to sleep 365 days a year on the streets in Orlando rather suffer through a winter in a northern city. I drive by OBT almost every day and I have never seen 20-30 women in front of the few motels. A few maybe but 20-30 never. Piece of quick advice. – do not fool around with these ladies. Good chance they are police decoys just waiting to take you to the crowbar motel.
I’ve noticed a lot offer valet parking, do you need to take up the valet parking? Or can you park for yourself for free? If not, what motels offer parking included in the room price that are in times square?
Thanks!
Most NYC hotels do not offer free parking. It’s definitely not included in the room price. If you have the option of leaving the car behind – take it! You don’t need a car in NYC. It’s more of a nuisance than it will ever be a benefit.
Hi, thanks for answering my question!
My friend and I are doing our own personal graduation trip to Myrtle Beach in the summer, and I wanted to know what motels/hotels let you be 18 an rent a room?
I will be 17 and my friend will be 18 at that time.
The Sea Mist resort recommended me to the motel Atlantic Paradise, but I wanted to see if their were other options we could consider.
Thanks for answering my question!

I am planning on bringing my children to Canada Wonderland and I may take advantage of our seat sales through PORTER and fly there to save on time and costs with our rising gas prices. Are there any motels in Vaughan that would offer shuttles services to Wonderland?
I don’t know any hotels in Vaughan that offer a shuttle service from the hotels to Wonderland, but this link will help you: http://www.canadaswonderland.com/visit/visit_accomodations.cfm
The nearest hotel close to Wonderland – is the Novotel Toronto Vaughan Centre. Their website can be founded here:

I hope this helps.

A couple of friends are looking for a place to stay for a few days while apartment hunting. Could you tell me some cheap motels in the Bronx area that are decent, or in Queens? Thanks so much!
None of us know anything about NYC, but thanks anyway.
If you have a choice, stay in Queens. In NYC, you’ll find it’s typically more a matter of ‘cheap’ OR ‘decent’ as opposed to cheap AND decent and the Bronx is really not a place for first time visitors who know nothing about NYC. Try looking here: http://www.nycvacationstays.com/hotels.htm
What is that material and where can i buy it? Its like a thin blanket like material usually green or tan, i have seen it in some hotels. It has white netting in the middle, like in between the two layers of cloth. Do you know where i can buy it. Thanks!
I think its felt. My mom worked for a hotel and I helped her alot when I was little. its really soft with little fuzziness. You could probably by it at any fabric store
