Every character other than the Americans are purposely portrayed as gross stereotypes based on assumptions Americans hold. These movies label Americans as stupid in many such ways. That you missed that is astounding. If anything, the film is anti-American because look at the response it garnered from you. I agree with your sentiment, though: many Americans are brainwashed monkeys.
