Apparently, so i read, it’s based on this.
In Tailand, families used to think they were selling their children to organised crime. It was poor families desperate to make some money.
Instead of organised crime, they were kept til they were in their twenties, then rich American, Europeans and English could pay £10,000 pounds or dollars to shoot them in the head with one bullet, BUT no tourture is recorded.
Thats what it’s based on, which is still scary stuff!

no this isnt a “true story”, eli ruth said that he had heard that somewhere thailand very poor people sold their childrens to some rich europeans that they can shoot them in the head, thats what “inspired” means in this situation.
