it seems to me that … it seems to me that the old rich is trying to relive his young days… anyway, this song has that Twin Peaks kind of weirdness on it,and even the video, and I think it was co-written with Angelo Badalamenti who actually wrote the music in Twin Peaks. I’m pretty sure about this.
i remember being a … i remember being a kid and watching headbangers ball on mtv (when it was still a good channel) and always seeing anthrax or alice in chains on it, loved this song.
He is attempting to … He is attempting to recover her memory by unlocking the mind with another. In other words attempting to add personality that was never there to begin with.
I believe it’s a … I believe it’s a social commentary on the shallowness of the human condition with regards to the need for external validation of our aesthetics and the vanity that compels some of us. Also, I concur, Anthrax does “fucking rule”.
it seems to be a … it seems to be a theme of eternal youth, or trying to preserve that. very twin peaksish as some have posted. I also wonder if the scene where they abduct the young girl was inspired loosely by the hillside stranglers who plagued hollywood in the late 70′s
Does anyone know … Does anyone know what is going on here in this video? lol I love this song, probably their best ever and Anthrax rules period, but what is going on here? lol
I gotta be honest, … I gotta be honest, I was about 13 when Bush took over, and Sound of White Noise to me is an amazing album. However, I can’t really listen to any of the other Anthrax stuff….primarily because of the vocals. Bush brought that (at the time) more modern feel to the band, as opposed to the 80′s sound.
Great vid, thx for posting. I remembered there being a cute girl in it, but would’ve had no idea it was Jenna Elfman…she looks so young there.
I love this Twin … I love this Twin Peaks inspired song (they even had Angelo Badalamenti compose the score for it!), but I can’t help but feel parts of it are similar (not the same) as “I want to know what love is” by Foreigner…
Oh come on, this is … Oh come on, this is just another great song from Anthrax. It´s no matter who sings…this song is just great and the video is great too.
There is no need to discuss who is or was the best singer for Anthrax. Just enjoy the song. Otherwise be a little Nobody who want to be a Metalhead…
Just like Van Halen … Just like Van Halen, 2 different versions of the band both equally good in their own respects. period. Remember the reunion with Belladonna didn’t happen because of Belladonna’s unwillingness to commit.
dont get me wrong, … dont get me wrong,BUSH IS A GOOD SINGER,,,BUT NOTHING CAN REPLACE THE ORIGINAL LINEUP… ITS LIKE METALLICA WITHOUT JAMES HETFIELD,,,OR TESTAMENT WITHOUT CHUCK BILLY,,, OR ARMORED SAINT WITHOUT JOHN BUSH,,,BELLADONNAS BEST WAS PERSISTENCE OF TIME…

I agree. Symbol of Salvation is perfect on every level and is probably what convinced Anthrax to get rid of Joey for John.
