My family is planning a magical gathering and there will be about 12-16 of us. We would like to stay in the villas at Wilderness Lodge, or Old Key West that way we can stay all in one villa or split the group into two. Do we have to be vacation club members to stay there? If not where is a good place for such large groups to stay?
Yes, anyone can stay at the DVC hotels, not just members. If you want to stay at Disney, those are your best options. There are also numerous houses and villas you can rent off-site, outside of Disney property.

You acctually can. There is a website you can go to but I am not sure of the name where someone can give you points to use to stay there. My mom went to the website, found someone that wanted to use the points, found out how many they needed and sold the points to them. That way you can also make money for new points for when you need to buy more. The website might be allears.net but I wouldnt swear to it so you might want to go check it out.

Yes you can. You can booked it right on line at the WDW web site. or call up reservations. We stayed at the Saratoga Villas, they are within walking distance to Downtown Disney which was very nice.
