If you booked through almost any travel website except the hotels website you are out of luck. Expedia, Priceline, orbit, etc. all of the travel websites are like a travel agent. You pay them, they pay the hotel. You could try to call them but I’m sure they will tell you no based on the fact it is non-refundable. When you book through any of these companies you will get a standard room type which means anything that is leftover. No preference on smoking or non or how many beds. Always try to stay away from these methods of booking rooms because you may get a better rate but you might not get what you expected.

off course you can cancel there is not any problem come up. You can book your hotels here http://www.disholidays.com/ that think about user as I use this websites when I need hotels rooms for my business trips.

Try contacting the site and or the hotel. It is in their best interest to help you. Next time try Priceline.
Good luck! Maybe I will knock into you on New Year’s Eve! Also, try the Carnegie Deli 854 7th Avenue(around 55th Street) in Manhattan.

if it's nonrefundable then no. but i would still the give the hotel notice so they don't charge you a fee.

Depends on which travel site you used, you have to call THEM to find out.
